Poster

Figure 1 - Brainstorming

When I think about this year's winter show, I think about how students has been confined in his/her space and struggled to stay resilient with all the uncertainties. I want this post to show the combination of our makers space and nature, and how we could reimagine nature through technology since we can't go out as much due to Covid.

First, I wrote down all the keywords that I thought were relevant, like difficulties that were caused by covid and humanization. During quarantine, I have always wanted to go out to the nature and might even study in the nature. Nature always has a healing effect on me, and allows me to think openly. Therefore, I combined our maker space and a picture from storm king art center to create on open working environment with a touch of technology (like red tools bins, computer and cables).

Also, I want to show how we could reimagine nature when we couldn't go outside. Maybe we could create a nature like environment, so I drew rainbow that is connected by black wires.

What to improve:

I will keep working on this poster and submit it before the deadline. I'm not satisfied with the font choice and color palette. I want to leave more negative space as well. I love each element of the poster. I need to rearrange everything, so it looks less crowded and cleaner.
